Change to Provider Enrollment Appeals and Rebuttals Contractor Effective: October 9, 2023

Effective Monday, October 9, 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) replaced the provider enrollment appeals and rebuttals contractor from the National Supplier Clearinghouse (NSC) to Chags Health Information Technology LLC (C-HIT). The NSC will review and decide on appeals and rebuttals they received through Friday, October 6, 2023.

Beginning October 9, 2023, all provider enrollment appeals and rebuttals for Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) suppliers must be sent to C-HIT:
